    Mimic the Dealer Blackjack Strategy

    Written by John Grochowski, Gaming

While playing blackjack, I noticed a player hitting on ever 16 and under, and standing on every 17 and above, just like the dealers do. “If it’s good enough for the dealer, it’s good enough for me,” he said. (more…)

Betting Less Than the Max at Video Poker

    Written by John Grochowski, Gaming

An old friend of mine is an occasional video poker player. He likes to play the game, but he doesn’t really like to risk money. In his lifetime, he’s drawn three royal flushes, one on a dollar game, and two on quarters. Every time, he’d wagered only one coin, meaning his jackpot was 250 coins instead of the 4,000 that comes with a five-coin wager. (more…)

Spring into Something New in Tunica

Written by Chrissy Garner for Travel Tunica

The signs of spring were abundant this past weekend in Tunica.  The weather was gorgeous!  While walking the dog, I came across blooming irises and tulips, a baby turtle and a cardinal.  All these things reminded me that it’s the time for renewal and probably a little spring-cleaning.  Typically, I associate spring-cleaning with dusting the blinds, washing the windows and rearranging the furniture, but this year, I’m all about working on cleaning out my closets.
