Cruise the Mississippi on the Tunica Queen

Want to experience the Mississippi River kind of like Tom Sawyer did but without having to get your feet wet? You can, on board the Tunica Queen. The Tunica Queen is an authentic riverboat that sails from the Tunica RiverPark and offers sightseeing, sunset and dinner cruises.

The Best of Showfest Featured on Tunica TV

Showfest, the car, truck and bike show that shows off vehicles that are loud by sound – and by paint color – rolled into Sam’s Town for its 15th anniversary last May. Meal Comps vs. Charging to Your Room

In more than two decades of staying at casino resorts, one of my favorite methods for getting all I can out of available comps has been to charge meals to my room, and then see if I can get them comped at the end of my stay. That enables me to use comps earned later to take care of mealtimes from the beginning of the stay, when I don’t yet have anything in the comp bank.

Alive After Five Concerts – Downtown Tunica

Each Spring we pull out the lawn chairs and stock the coolers for the Alive After Five concert series in downtown Tunica. The concerts are the last Friday of the month from April – June and are held in Rivergate park. The first concert of the year will be April 26 with Hard Scrabble performing. Cowboy Mounted Shooting Championships returns to the Tunica Arena

The Tunica Arena is hosting the Cowboy Mounted Shooting National Championships April 14-20, 2013 for it’s 10th year.  Over 500 horses and their riders come to town to take part in the annual championship. Admission is free everyday during the event. On Friday, April 19th at 7 pm you will have a chance to see the top riders that are vying for the National Championship.
